“Why I’m Writing”

I’ve learned over the years that God often nudges me toward things I can’t fully explain. Teaching, pastoring, writing, tending: most of it began not with a plan, but with a quiet sense of being compelled. Not pressured. Not pushed. Just drawn.
This blog is one of those things.
I don’t know who will read these posts. I don’t know whose story they will touch. I don’t know what questions or hopes or wounds might be sitting on the other side of the screen.
But I do know this: sometimes God sends words ahead of us to places we may never go, to people we may never meet in this life. And sometimes He uses simple reflections: moments, memories, glimpses, to reach someone who needs to know they’re seen, valued, and not alone.
So I’m writing because I feel compelled to. Because I’ve learned to trust that nudge. Because I believe God can use even small things to tend His people.
If you find yourself here, reading this, I hope these reflections give you space to breathe, to wonder, and to see Jesus a little more clearly in the ordinary moments of life.
