Johnny and his wife, Bethany, have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of two children, Morgan and Samuel.

With a deep confidence in the reigning and living Jesus, Johnny teaches the Word of God with a steady emphasis on seeing and savoring Christ in every part of Scripture.

For over 33 years, Johnny has worked as a plumber, and for the past five years he has also served as an instructor at a technical school. These vocations shape his ministry. He brings the honesty of the jobsite, the patience of the classroom, and the humility of everyday life into the church.

Johnny creates a safe, welcoming atmosphere where people can approach God with honesty, curiosity, and wonder. He doesn’t pretend to have all the answers—and he’s cautious of anyone who acts as if they do. That posture has opened the door for laughter, deeper reflection, and the quiet joy of walking with God together. 

Johnny's Favorite Passage going way back to when he was a very small boy is: ​1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2

Bethany was born and raised in Skiatook, with family roots that run deep into the heart of this community. In 2001, she married her best friend, Johnny Thulin Jr., and together they’ve built 25 years of quiet, steady, joy‑filled marriage. They have two wonderful children who love the Lord—Morgan, 15, who plays flute in the band, and Samuel, 11, who enjoys baseball and keeps the family laughing.

Bethany loves to share the gift of music and to sing what God places on her heart. She works in the public school system, where her kindness and discernment bless students and staff alike. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening—flowers, vegetables, anything that grows—along with spending time with her family and their pets.

Bethany brings a gentle, faithful presence to our church family, offering encouragement, hospitality, and a deep love for Jesus.

Janet is too shy to write about herself, so the Church would not funtion without her and her husband Bill McClellan, they are the backbones of the Church and everyone who knows them knows that is true. 

Born and raised in Cleveland OH. Came to OK in 1990 and never looked back.
